Jane was born in the Philippines and has so many fond memories of her childhood there. She lived with her parents and grandparents outside the city of Olongapo. She has maintained her native language through visits throughout her life, and now brings her husband and three young children to experience jeepney rides, palengkes, taho, fishballs, sorbetes, suman, and fresh pan de sal.

Jane still cooks her scrambled eggs a little burnt, just like Tatay used to.
